Girls Music Education & Leadership - 2026

ANAM is proud to announce the launch of its Girls Music Education & Leadership Program in January 2026—an empowering initiative designed to give young girls in Liberia the opportunity to grow as musicians, scholars, and future leaders.

Benefit Concert - 2023

A benefit concert for ANAM was held at Monrovia’s Royal Grand Hotel, featuring Kamila Arku, Founder of Music for Liberia—a longtime partner since 2019. This collaboration brought together religious leaders, members of government, international organizations, and members from foreign missions in Liberia to raise vital funds and awareness, strengthening ANAM’s mission to expand music education in Liberia.

Teachers Training Workshop - 2023

Dr. Martina Vasil from the University of Kentucky led a transformative 2-week training that equipped ANAM teachers with new teaching methods, curricular materials, and curriculum development skills to address the critical gap in PreK–5 music curriculum. Educators can now not only deliver quality music education but also train future teachers—multiplying the impact and ensuring sustainable growth in music education nationwide.

ANAM Presents Concert at U.S. Ambassador Residence - 2019

On October 11th of 2019, ANAM presented a Piano Recital at the residence of Amb. Christian Elder, U.S. Ambassador assigned to Liberia. Amb. Elder applauded ANAM’s efforts and encourage attendees to help support the mission.
